Celiz is a dedicated social impact professional who approaches her work with curiosity and joy. She is an idea-generator, problem-solver, and community builder passionate about co-creating strategic solutions to complex issues.
Celiz received her M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Seattle Pacific University and is Certified in Design Thinking. She brings over a decade of experience in the social impact sector to her work at Phīla. She is energized by opportunities to leverage her lived experience in nonprofit direct services and training in organizational psychology to strategically support the social impact sector.
Outside of her professional work, you can find her tending to her flower garden, experimenting with various creative pursuits, such as natural fabric dyeing, or traveling. She also loves spending time outside by embarking on multi-day cycling trips, hikes, backpacking trips, and trail runs. She lives in South Seattle in a communal household with her husband, 3 friends, 8 chickens, and her dog Taco.
